How to Make a  Christmas Card

You will need to make a Christmas card:

  • Choose a card design from the blank card kits below
  • Several pieces of coloured paper, (recycled or with an interesting texture)
  • Metallic braid or cord, or coloured ribbon
  • Ruler
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Pinking shears

Step by Step Christmas card instructions:

1.       Select pre-folded you card stock

2.       Trim a piece of coloured paper with pinking shears, so that it measures 13cm x 8cm.

3.       Glue it to the front of the card, leaving an equal margin on each side.

4.       Cut a simple shape - a Christmas tree, a star, bells etc. - from an interesting paper of a toning or contrasting colour.

5.       Glue the shape to the front of the Christmas card.

6.       Make a bow from metallic braid, gold cord or ribbon and stick it to the front of the card, or slip a piece of coloured cord or ribbon right round the spine of the card. Gently tie it in a bow, without crushing the spine.
